Reader Wrong On Elmhurst Restaurant's Fate
The reader predicted the quick demise of a new restaurant.

ELMHURST, IL – Often, when a new restaurant or another type of business opens, some predict its imminent demise.
If they are wrong, they usually never follow up to admit their mistake.
On Jan. 26, Krafted Burger Bar + Tap opened at 111 E. First St. in downtown Elmhurst.

Patch wrote about the new restaurant the next day. A reader commented in response to the story that Krafted would last no longer than six months. The reader later deleted the comment.
Nonetheless, a Patch reporter marked the six-month point in his online calendar. The six-month milestone was reached last week.

The restaurant is still open. In short, the reader was wrong.
Krafted's Facebook page is alive and well. Last week, the eatery posted two items about National Tequila Day, including a photo of a woman enjoying her meal.
Recently, a Burr Ridge reader predicted a soon-to-open restaurant in the village wouldn't last beyond six months. A Patch reporter has included a notation in his calendar for February.
