38 students will compete at the competition on April 27-29 in Springfield.

ELMHURST, IL - A record number of York Community High School students have qualified for the 2017 State SkillsUSA Competition and Leadership Conference. 38 students will compete at the competition on April 27-29 in Springfield.
Categories and competitors are as follows:
- For Adobe Photoshop: Dylan Salek, Simon DeGrace and Austin Nidea.
- For Architectural Drafting (CAD): Anna Canete, Austin Gelsomino, Kevin Waller, Ruthvik Done, Ryan Schaner, David Morales and Ally Hickey.
- For Automotive Service Technology: Jeremy Olson.
- For Collision Repair Technology: Mike Falco.
- For Cabinetmaking: Tim Delaney, Gary Derwin and Nathan Tufte.
- For Power Equipment Technology: Mike Mancini and Noah Krauter.
- For Principles of Engineering: Dylan Kalchik and Clayton Davey.
- For Screen Printing Technology: Matthew Shepherd, Matthew Colagrossi and Jonathan Tanner.
- For Technical Drafting (CAD): Jonathan Milani, Abby Gundrum, John Devine, Mark Molayal, Alex Vujovic, Justin Zellinger, Isabel Torres, Collin Czech, Bob Dirmish, Luke Rozmus, Noah Neidigh, Jake Czernik and Joey Gemini.
