Rep. Mazzochi Hosts Webinar on Resume Writing for First Timers

On Thursday, State Representative Deanne Mazzochi (R-Elmhurst) is hosting a Resume Writing for First Time Job Seekers webinar for 47th District constituents. The webinar will be on Thursday, August 18th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Zoom.

“Entering the job market can be intimidating for first time job seekers, so I’m glad to provide this opportunity to make the process easier and more approachable,” said Rep. Mazzochi. “We will have an expert discuss how to work on your resumes and the comprehensive process of applying for a job in today’s working world. I look forward to hosting this event to provide this helpful information.”

A resume writing expert and employment coach from the YWCA Metropolitan Chicago’s Economic Empowerment Institute will provide advice and expertise at this event. This expert will discuss resume format, resume content, how to conduct oneself in an interview, professional communication and appearance, employers viewing social media accounts of candidates, what employers look for in a resume and candidate, and more.
