Ruse Burglars Target Northside Elmhurst House: Cops
A woman is distracted while suspects stole jewelry from her bedroom, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst resident was the victim of a ruse burglary over the weekend, police said.
The incident occurred about 5 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of North Highland Avenue.
A woman told officers that suspects entered her mother's house and took jewelry from her bedroom, police said.

The woman reported one suspect distracted her mother while two others entered the house. An investigation is pending, police said.
