Security Battered, Carrier Bitten: Hinsdale Cops
A man was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery in an incident at the hospital, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving a battery against hospital security, a mail carrier bitten by a dog, forged business checks, a DUI and identity theft. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:
Battery
- Mark A. Wilson, 43, of Chicago, was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Hinsdale hospital, 120 N. Oak St., on a charge of aggravated battery. He made contact of an "insulting or provoking nature" with a hospital security officer. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Mail Carrier Bitten

- A mail carrier was bitten by a dog while she was delivering mail about 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of South Bruner Street. She declined medical assistance.
Forged checks
- Someone forged business checks against a banking account of Chicago Capital Holdings, 120 E. Ogden Ave. The forgeries happened between Sept. 23 and Sept. 30. They were reported Oct. 4.
Warrant

- Lisa M. Kirrin, 57, of Palos Heights, was arrested about 6 p.m. Oct. 5 in the 10 block of East First Street on a Cook County arrest warrant. She was stopped after a registration inquiry. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
DUI
- Cristian J. Garcia, 26, of Chicago, was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Ogden Avenue and Route 83 on charges of DUI, no valid driver's license, improper lane use and illegal transportation of open alcohol. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. Open containers of beer were found in his glove compartment. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
Identity theft
- A resident in the 100 block of North Lincoln Street told police Friday that someone used the resident's identity to open a fraudulent bank account. No monetary loss was reported.
