Spitting, Pushing In Elmhurst Neighborhood: Police
In another case, neighbors argued, with one of them involving a dog, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving a man spitting and pushing someone else, a neighbor dispute, dog bites, a fall, theft and an egging. Here's information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
Spitting
- A person spat in a man's face and pushed him about 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of South Berkley Avenue. The victim was taken to the hospital. Charges are pending.

- After a neighbor dispute, a resident in the 100 block of South Oakland Avenue told police that the suspect walked his dog behind her house about 4:30 p.m. Friday. At the resident's request, her neighbor was given a no-trespass notice.
Dog bites
- A resident in the 800 block of South Fairfield Avenue told police that his neighbor's dog got out and bit him on the arm and leg about 11 a.m. Wednesday. The dog's owner confirmed that the dog got out, but he was unsure why it bit the neighbor. DuPage County Animal Services was notified of the incident.
Fall

- A person fell about 8 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of West Alexander Boulevard. The person was taken to the hospital.
Theft
- Someone entered Elmhurst Hospital's construction site at 1100 S. York St. and stole copper wire and tools Thursday. An investigation is pending.
Egging
- A house was egged about 10 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of South Stratford Avenue.
