OAK BROOK, IL — Fogo de Chão, a Brazilian steakhouse chain, plans to open its fourth location in the Chicago area in Oak Brook. The first day is set for Nov. 23, two days before Thanksgiving.

The other area locations are in downtown Chicago, Rosemont and Naperville.

According to the chain's news release, the new restaurant will be in the newly developed Oak Brook Commons neighborhood. Fogo de Chão said it would anchor its dining room by an open-air churrasco bar for guests to dine while gaucho chefs display their work. ("Churrasco" means beef or grilled meat.)

The chain also said the Oak Brook team will be a test location for all new menu innovations, including seasonable items, before launching throughout the company.

The chain plans to bring an estimated 130 jobs with its new location. The local staff will be led by Chicago-area native Nasco Angelov, who started his career with Fogo de Chão in 2014 in Rosemont as a gaucho chef, according to the release. He is now the general manager of the Chicago resturant.
