Still Low Number Of Elmhurst Virus Cases: County

ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst saw eight new coronavirus cases in the last week, up from the previous week, according to statistics from the DuPage County Health Department.

As of Sunday, the city had 4,431 cases. The week before last, Elmhurst saw an increase of five cases.

The number of those who have recovered is unavailable.

As of Sunday, the number of coronavirus-related deaths in Elmhurst stayed the same in the last week, at 68. The mortality rate among those locally with the coronavirus is 1.5 percent.
