Suspects Crash At Elmhurst Intersection: Police
One was quickly apprehended, while another was arrested later, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – A car with two suspects crashed about 5 a.m. Thursday at York and Lake streets in Elmhurst, local police said.
One suspect was quickly apprehended, while the other ran northeast and was seen in a wooded area near Interstate 290, just east of York, according to a police news release.
At 6:10 a.m., a member of the public saw the suspect and told a nearby police officer, police said. Officers said they took the suspect safely into custody near Willow Road and Gladys Avenue.

Elmhurst police said the car crashed while another police agency was chasing it into town. The suspects were wanted for burglary.
