Suspicious Man Was 'Riding the Ladybug' in Washington Park: Police

A man in his 60s was reportedly on his own in the park Aug. 22.

A suspicious person was reportedly hanging out Aug. 22 in Washington Park.

The person was a white man about 60 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 180 pounds, with curly gray hair, cross eyed or with a lazy eye, according to Elmhurst police. He was wearing wire-rimmed glasses, a white T-shirt and black pants.

Someone reported the man was seen “riding the ladybug” in the park. The man was approached by another person who asked if he was with anyone else at the park, and the man said he was alone, police said.

He then reportedly walked over to a younger male, said something and then left, walking northbound on Poplar Avenue from May Street.
