Swastika Vandalism At Elmhurst House: Cops
Two garage doors and a car were damaged overnight in a local neighborhood, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – A house in the 400 block of North Oak Street in Elmhurst was vandalized with swastikas overnight Saturday, police said.
Three swastikas were spray-painted in red on two garage doors and one car parked in the driveway between 9:45 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday, according to a police news release.
The victims told officers they did not see any previous suspicious activity or threats, police said. Detectives are trying to determine whether the suspect specifically targeted the home.

The incident is being investigated as a hate crime, a felony in Illinois, police said.
Police are asking all residents with home security video systems in the neighborhood to check for suspicious people or cars that may have been recorded overnight.
