AT&T Outage Still Affecting Elmhurst?

ELMHURST, IL – Customers in parts of Elmhurst suffered an AT&T internet outage last Thursday.

One resident in the 700 block of South Fairfield Avenue told Patch Wednesday that the outage has now lasted six days. He said the outage is affecting south Elmhurst.

The resident showed an AT&T message that indicated the outage was caused by the winter storm.

Asked about the situation in Elmhurst, AT&T spokeswoman Sarah Holland told Patch in an email, "We aren’t seeing any widespread outages, but we are investigating further what might be happening with this particular customer."
