Taco-Throwing Elmhurst Man Charged: Cops

The man said he threw the taco in the wrong direction, according to a police report.

ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst man got in trouble with the police this week after throwing a taco at another person's car, authorities said.

The 21-year-old suspect, who was charged with disorderly conduct, lives in the 400 block of Berteau Avenue, police said. The incident was reported as occurring about 5 p.m. Wednesday near Route 83 and St. Charles Road.

A man told police that the 21-year-old hit his car with a taco. After that happened, the man confronted the 21-year-old, who then kicked the other man's driver's side door, police said.

The 21-year-old said he tried to throw the taco at a friend who was in another car, but missed, police said.

The 21-year-old was released.
