Take a Walking Tour Through Elmhurst's Architectural History
Elmhurst Art Museum and Elmhurst Historical Museum co-present walking tours on June 7 and 13.

From modern to classic, prairie style to bungalows and more: the City of Elmhurst is fortunate to have a diverse range of architectural styles along its tree-lined streets.
The Elmhurst Historical Museum and Elmhurst Art Museum invite the public to explore this rich architectural heritage with two guided Elmhurst Architecture Walking Tours on Sunday, June 7 at 4 p.m. and Saturday, June 13 at 10 a.m.

Participants will walk around Elmhurst with architecture specialist and art educator Robert Bunda to explore some eclectic architectural gems.
Tours last approximately 1.5 hours and start at the Elmhurst Art Museum, 150 S. Cottage Hill Ave., and end at the Elmhurst Historical Museum, 120 E. Park Ave.

To register, go to the Elmhurst Art Museum’s web site at elmhurstartmuseum.org. The cost is $15 for members of the Elmhurst Heritage Foundation or Elmhurst Art Museum, and $20 for non-members.
Tour participants will receive a $5 Elmhurst City Centre coupon good for the day of the tour.
