Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?
Jack Romito is a patient and supportive Educational Assistant at Hawthorne Elementary School in Elmhurst, IL. A true gentle giant, Jack is focused on the needs of his students and making each day count. He uses his natural abilities as well as what he learned from Northeastern University to ensure his students have a safe and inclusive classroom. Jack is patient and tireless. He also teaches swimming lessons after school four days per week at the British Swim School in Oak Brook, IL. He focuses on the educational as well as emotional needs of those in his care, and he ensures that having some fun is also part of the lesson plans every day.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?
Kids enjoy spending time with Jack because has the natural ability to empathetically "see things through the eyes of his students."
