Teens Enlisted To Steal At Oak Brook Store: Cops
A woman was arrested on a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, among other offenses, police said.
OAK BROOK, IL – A woman enlisted two children to commit theft Monday at an Oak Brook department store, police said.
Florica Nicolae-Dirivan, 46, with no known address, was arrested about 6 p.m. by Oak Brook officers who were waiting outside the store.
According to a news release from DuPage County prosecutors, Nicolae-Dirivan was with 15-year-old and 14-year-old girls at Macy's.

The woman would point to items she was interested in, prompting the girls to pick them up, take them to another part of the store and then place them under the dress of one of the teens, police said.
The trio then left the store, where Nicolae-Dirivan was arrested, police said.

She was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, burglary and retail theft, all felonies, prosecutors said.
Her bond was set at $10,000, with a requirement that she pay 10 percent to be released. She remained in the DuPage County Jail late Tuesday afternoon.
