Tinted Windows Lead to Heroin Arrests in Elmhurst
A driver and passenger were found in possession of hypodermic needles after the traffic stop, police report.

Elmhurst police arrested two people June 6 for heroin possession after they were pulled over at St. Charles Road and West Avenue for having tinted windows.
The driver, Patrick Adamczky, age 20 of the 500 block of Greenbridge, Addison, and passenger Katelynn Lydon, age 19 of the 200 block of East Division Street, Villa Park, were found in possession of hypodermic needles after the traffic stop, according to Elmhurst police.
Both denied knowing about the needles, but they later acknowledged they’d bought the needles and used heroin earlier that day.

Adamczyk was charged with possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic needle, tinted windows and driving under the influence, police reported.
Lydon was charged with possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle.

Both were brought to DuPage County Jail, police reported.
