Tom Cullerton raises awareness for Hunger Action Month
"It's important to remember that hunger is a year-long battle for many residents throughout our community." -Tom Cullerton (D-Villa Park)
VILLA PARK- In conjunction with Hunger Action Month, State Senator Tom Cullerton (D-VILLA PARK) is hosting a food drive to benefit the Hands of Hope Food Pantry starting next week.
“It’s important to remember that hunger is a year-long battle for many residents throughout our community,” Cullerton said. “This is a great way for people to come together to raise awareness on this important issue.”
The need for donations doesn’t end with the holiday season. Local food drives are the key source of food to alleviate hunger throughout Illinois.
