Villa Park Co-Op Market to Host Owners Meeting, Volunteer Orientation

Mama Squash Market, a full-service grocery store coming to Villa Park, will host an owners meeting and volunteer orientation on May 17.

The meeting will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. at Josephine’s Martini & Wine Bar, 207 S. Villa Ave., Villa Park, according to a news release.

Health conscious people and those curious about the market are invited to attend to learn more.

From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., organizers will present current and future owners with the progress made since incorporating in August 2014.

From 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., they will provide an orientation to volunteers to help spread the word more broadly. There are several summertime events coming up, and and there are plenty of opportunities to help.

There will be a cash bar, healthy snacks and prizes will be raffled off.
