Villa Park to Open Bidding for Street Resurfacing Projects

Bids will be opened for several street resurfacing and improvement projects included in the 2014 Road Referendum this month.

Bids will be opened for both the Twin Lakes Street Improvements and the 2015 Street Resurfacing Program on June 23. Construction is expected to start in late July or early August and should be completed this year.

The 2015 Street Resurfacing Program will include the following streets:

• Biermann Avenue between Terrace Street and Sunset Drive
• Second Avenue between Terrace Street and Stone Road
• Third Avenue between Terrace Street and Stone Road
• Ridge Road between Biermann Avenue and Addison Road
• Terrace Street between Yale and Ardmore avenues
• Division Street between Harvard and Ardmore avenues
• Cornell Avenue between St. Charles Road and the Union Pacific – West train tracks
• Illinois Avenue between Division Street and the Union Pacific – West train tracks
• Home Alley (between Harvard and Ardmore avenues, south of St. Charles Road)
• Yale Avenue between St. Charles Road and Home Alley

The Twin Lakes Street Improvements will include the following streets:

• Armitage Avenue between Harvard and Ardmore avenues
• Belden Avenue from the west end to Ardmore Avenue
• Sidney Avenue from west of Yale Avenue to east of Yale Avenue
• Yale Avenue between Wildfire Drive and Armitage Avenue
• Princeton Avenue from south of Belden Avenue to Armitage Avenue
• Ardmore Avenue from south of Belden Avenue to Armitage Avenue
