'While You Were Sleeping': Crooks Steal Spare Tire While Owner Snoozes In Truck

A man reported some someone stole the spare tire from his pick-up truck while he was sleeping inside the cab.

According to the report, the truck was parked in the American Legion lot at 310 W. Butterfield road around 7:21 p.m. Jan. 15.

The owner of the truck told police he was sleeping inside the cab when he saw two women and a man fleeing in the area in a vehicle after removing the spare tire from his truck.
