Wild Ride Lands 10U Cougars in Championship
The Dells are known for wild water rides; the 10U Cougars had a wild ride to the finish of the 2015 Water-park Capital City Classic.

The Wisconsin Dells are known for wild water rides; the 10U Cougars had a wild ride to the finish of the 2015 Game Day USA Waterpark Capital City Classic. Pool play began for the Cougars with two losses - something uncharacteristic of a team with a .719 winning percentage (through June 14th). The Cougars fell victim to Rhino Baseball East 12 to 9 on June 5th and the La Grange Pavers 13 to 5 the next day.
With the distraction of the waterparks out of their collective systems the Cougars turned the page in finishing pool play with a 13 to 3 victory over the Park Ridge Jr Hawks. The quarter finals and semi finals continued the trend of quality Cougar baseball. In a hard fought quarterfinal win the boys defeated the Plainfield Raiders 10 to 9. Each team had 10 hits and the Cougars won on smart base running. In the semi-finals the Cougars were re-matched against the La Grange Pavers. This time the results were in the favor of the Cougars with a 13 to 1 victory fueled by 9 hits, no errors, and a .705 strike percentage by Cougar pitchers. The championship game saw the Cougars fall to the Morris Tribe by a score of 8 - 5. A wild ride, indeed.
The 2015 10U Cougars are, in alphabetical order, Nolan Crowell, William Czech, Zachary Despinich, Sean Garcia, Cameron Gifford, Frankie Nicosia, Ryan Procajlo, Nate Rechlin, Cody Reilly, Michael Sumner, Matt Sutter, Matt Vezza.
