Windy City Ninjas Gym Plans Grand Opening

ELMHURST, IL — The new Windy City Ninjas gym in Elmhurst will hold its grand opening on Friday, July 27. According to the business, this brand new facility will feature a variety of obstacles to challenge ninjas of every age (from age two up to adults). The gym is located at 684 W. Lake St. in Elmhurst.

Grand opening activities include:

• July 27, 6 - 8 p.m.: Family Fun Night includes pizza ($12.50 per person, you can enter WCNELMHURST at checkout to receive 50 percent off regular pricing for the grand opening weekend)
• July 28, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 1 - 2:30 p.m.: Kids Open Gym ($10 per person, enter WCNELMHURST at checkout to receive 50 percent off regular pricing for the grand opening weekend)
• July 29, 4 - 5:30 p.m.: Adult Only Event ($10 per person, enter WCNELMHURST at checkout to receive 50 percent off regular pricing for the grand opening weekend)
• Aug. 3, 12:30 p.m.: Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Classes will begin Aug. 6 and there is a pre-opening discount of $90 per month per child if signed up before July 27 (discount applies through October). According to the business, Windy City Ninjas offers weekly classes specifically tailored to the following age groups: Lil Warriors Parent/Tot (ages 2 – 3), Lil Warriors (ages 4 – 5), Emerging Warriors (ages 5 – 8), Ascending Warriors (ages 9 – 13) and Advanced Teens (ages 13 – 15). All classes are designed to improve strength, agility, body awareness and self-confidence.

Classes include multiple circuits and stations to keep the kids moving. The youngest, Lil Warriors, have a dedicated space with age and size appropriate obstacles and adventures. Adults (ages 16+) will have access to their own dedicated classes and open gym time as well.

In addition to classes, Windy City Ninjas also offers open gym time, family fun nights, birthday parties, camps, competitions, school/team/corporate events and more.

“Our philosophy for our kids - and adults - is overcome, persevere and achieve,” Rhomberg said in a release. “We want to work with this community to help their children be active, self-confident, and realize their full potential while working hard and having fun. Ninja warrior obstacles as a medium are a terrific fitness option for kids to improve their well-being physically, mentally and emotionally.”
