Woman Falls From Elmhurst Apartment Building: Police

ELMHURST, IL – A woman fell Friday morning from an Elmhurst apartment building, police said.

About 10 a.m., Elmhurst police and firefighters responded to the building at 150 E. Schiller St., where they found a woman on the ground, according to a news release.

Witnesses reported the woman had fallen from the balcony area on the east side of the building. She was taken to an area hospital.

Police said they are investigating.

The building appears to be nine stories.
