Woman Sues Elmhurst Memorial for Husband's Wrongful Death
The suit alleges the hospital and a doctor were negligent in the husband's care.
A woman is suing over claims that a doctor and Elmhurst Memorial Hospital caused the wrongful death of her husband in 2013.
Andrea Gebhart filed a lawsuit in Cook County against Dr. Phillip Cozzi, Elmhurst Memorial Hospital and Elmhurst Clinic, according to the Cook County Record.
Gebhart claims in the suit that Cozzi was careless and didn’t order a biopsy of nodules found in an X-ray of Leon Gebhart, who died of malignant lymphoma, the Record reported.
