Woman's Body Found At Villa Park Metra Station: Official

VILLA PARK, IL – A woman's body was found about 7 a.m. Monday at Villa Park's Metra train station, authorities said.

The woman was pronounced dead at the station, Metra spokesman Michael Gillis said.

"We don't have her identification," Gillis said in an interview. "We don't know the cause of death. The suspicion was that she was struck by a train."

Because of the police investigation, the Metra line was not operating for more than an hour, Gillis said.
