The Garden Club of York Community High School has recently acquired certifications from several organizations for its campus gardens. These certifications denote the Club’s support of environmental concerns.

The gardens have been recognized by the National Wildlife Federation as a wildlife habitat, Monarch Watch as a Certified Monarch Waystation, The Conservation Foundation for promoting an environmentally friendly area, and Xerces Society as a pollinator garden. Signage denoting certifications will be displayed in the butterfly garden, located in the exterior courtyard on the north side of the school.
