York Girls Basketball Presents the 1st Annual "Elmhurst Night of Hoops"

​On ​Monday, October 20th the York Girls Basketball Program is hosting the middle schools from District 205 for a “Night of Hoops.”

The 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams from Sandburg, Churchville, and Bryan Middle Schools will be playing a round robin tournament at York, starting at 4 p.m. in the fieldhouse.

All donations and proceeds will go to the Elmhurst Food Pantry. Admission is $2 or any non-perishable food item. Items in demand include: canned fruit, cream style soups, cleaning supplies, toiletries, ramen noodles, canned meals such as Spaghetti-O’s, chili, condiments such as ketchup, mustard, salad dressings.

Fundraising for a new pantry is also taking place, with hope​s​ to break ground in April. Cash donations will also be accepted.
