York Students Move Ahead On National TV Program
Girls participate before three celebrity judges on "World of Dance."

ELMHURST, IL — The dance group that includes two Elmhurst teens performed in front of three celebrity judges in "World of Dance," which aired Tuesday. In "World of Dance," each judge gives a yes vote, a no vote or a callback vote. Carol Stream-based The Difference received a callback vote, which means it will have one last chance to perform and earn a spot in the next round.
The six-member group includes York High School's Allyson Hiser and Sophie Grabau, both 16-year-olds who will start their junior year in August. The girls are in the 17-and-under juniors division, vying for a $1 million prize.
The judges are Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough. The Difference's segment was filmed a few months ago. They only started practicing together late last summer.
