Coaches Comments:
We are very excited to work with 13 new varsity players this season. Many of these girls have been “Varsity-ready” for at least one year, but last year’s strong senior class did not provide opportunities with the varsity. Most of these players competed on the J.V. 1 in 2014 which team finished with a 16-1 record (their only loss to Hinsdale Central). That J.V. 1 team (Coached by Kara Dollaske) finished 2nd place in conference beating all other teams besides Hinsdale C. plus they defeated non-conference teams such as Lake Forest, Glenbrook South and Maine South to name a few.
We will have a very deep team up and down the lineup card. 17 freshmen came out in the program this fall which we are very excited about. There will be great competition throughout the area and we will play a very competitive schedule. We are still looking at who will fill each of the singles spots and who will make up the doubles combinations as it is in the early going. It should be a very exciting season!
