York's Award-Winning Drama Department presents Fall Festival Performances

Don't miss York High School's Fall Festival performances on October 26 - 29!

The Children's Hour is a groundbreaking drama exploring the power of the spoken word. When a young girl starts a rumor about her teachers, lies compound, lives unravel, and truths are revealed. In today's world of social media and political volatility, Lillian Hellman's work is more relevant than the day it was written.

Next to Normal is true contemporary musical theatre; exploring how one suburban household copes with crisis and mental illness. Winner of three 2009 Tony Awards, including Best Musical Score and the 2010 Pulitzer Prize, Next to Normal was also chosen as "one of the year's ten best shows" by critics around the country, including The Los AngelesTimes, The Washington Post, Rolling Stone and The New York Times.

Performances will be the last weekend of October. Here are the exact dates and times:

Thursday, October 26th The Children's Hour 7:30pm
Friday, October 27th Next to Normal 7:30pm
Saturday, October 28th The Children's Hour 7:30pm
Sunday, October 29th Next to Normal 2:00pm

Tickets can be purchased online at www.ticketpeak.com/yorkdrama.
Tickets are $10 each (Adults/ Seniors/ Children) plus a small processing fee. These performances are not recommended for children under 13.

Special note regarding York Student Tickets for the Fall Festival - York student tickets are free to The Children's Hour and will be available at the door with a student ID. Student tickets to Next to Normal will be $10 and can be purchased online or at the door.
