10 Illinois Hospitals among Top 100 Nationwide, Says New Study

If you’re ever in need of quality medical care in Chicago or the suburbs, you’re in good hands. Ten hospitals in Illinois have been recognized as some of best in the nation by a renowned study. Three of the 10 received the study’s highest honor.

Truven Health Analytics’ annual “Top 100 Hospitals” breaks down winners into five categories: major teaching, teaching, large community, medium community and small community hospitals. And then there is the Everest Award, which was won by only 17 hospitals throughout the country.

Here are the top 10 hospitals in Illinois, as well as the three that are considered the very best in 2015.
