2 Free Beach Days Remain in Evanston This Summer
Find out which beaches are allowing free access and on what days in August.
EVANSTON, IL - The city of Evanston will provide two free beach days before the season ends on Labor Day.
Beach access will be free at Clark Street Beach on Monday, Aug. 22 and at Lee Street Beach on Monday, Aug. 29.
As the season winds down, some beaches will operate on limited hours, before completely closing after Labor Day.

At Greenwood Street and South Boulevard beaches, swimming will be open only from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekdays between Aug. 22 and Sept. 2. At Clark, those swimming hours will run from Aug. 24 through Sept. 2.
