2 Teens Nabbed After Fleeing From Traffic Stop in Evanston
Charges handed down after police say the teenagers were found in a car reported stolen out of Chicago.

EVANSTON, IL - Two teenagers, including one from Evanston, were arrested Sunday night after being caught in a white Toyota that had been reported stolen out of Chicago.
Police in Evanston first saw the car with three individuals inside on Ridge Avenue near Howard Street and attempted to make a stop in the 6500 block of North Seeley Avenue in Chicago.
All three passengers fled, but two were apprehended shortly after. The driver was a 16-year-old boy from Chicago who was taken into custody immediately, according to police. A 17-year-old boy from Evanston was also arrested when he was found near Howard and Custer Avenue.

A female passenger who fled the stop on foot was not found.
The driver was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle and petitioned. The passenger was charged with criminal trespass to vehicle.
