2026 Easter Egg Hunts In Evanston

Mark your calendars for this year's egg hunt in Evanston, happening on April 4.

EVANSTON, IL — Easter is coming up this weekend, and this year the Evanston community can celebrate with a community egg hunt on April 4.

This year's annual Arboretum Egg Hunt will include more than just the hunt. Families will be able to enjoy festive activities as well as arts and crafts stations.

Participants must register with the Department of Parks and Recreation to attend. Tickets are divided into one-hour time frames, starting with the first starting at 10 a.m. and the last ending at 2:15 p.m. Tickets cost about $16.

After the egg hunt, families are invited to enjoy fun nature activities along the nature trail and visit the indoor farmers' market in the Ecology Center.
