25th Annual Pumpkin Patch to Benefit ESCCA a great success!
Annual fundraiser to benefit ESCCA
The annual Pumpkin Patch sale for the Evanston School Children’s Clothing Association was held on Sat. Oct 15th at Independence Park 2101 Central St. It was a beautiful warm day and fun was had by all, including great face painting and tasty refreshments! The event provided over $3000 in proceeds to benefit ESCCA. Coldwell Banker graciously donated the 700 pumpkins, which it has been doing now for 25 years. ESCCA provides a full wardrobe of clothing and shoes for over 600 D/65 Evanston/Skokie children in need each year. Clothing assistance services are performed efficiently and discreetly, always keeping the dignity of the families in mind.
Currently, the inventory of large sizes, particularly sizes 14-18 are very low. Anyone who wishes to donate “gently used” jackets and snowpants may drop them off at any District 65 school or at the ESCCA bin behind the District 65 administration building at 1500 Mc Daniel Ave. Monetary donations are always appreciated. Please visit info@escca.org for more information.
