EVANSTON, IL — A group of five people carjacked a delivery driver Sunday night in southeast Evanston, according to police. The robbers fled officers who caught up to the stolen car, which was later found abandoned. No one has been arrested in connection with the incident.

A 46-year-old Evanston man told police he had arrived in the 400 block of Main Street shortly before 11:15 p.m. to deliver a pizza. As he tried to complete the delivery, he encountered a group of two men and three women, according to police.

The five robbers first told the driver that they had ordered the pizza before demanding he hand over his car keys. One of the two men was armed with a stun gun, police said.
