A Park District board member, attorney, business owner and Party president seek to fill hole left by Coleen Burrus.

Four residents of Evanston’s Ninth Ward have expressed interest in the alderman vacancy there.
Dan Coyne, Shawn Jones, Mary McAuley and Brian Miller introduced themselves to ward residents and Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl during a Wednesday community meeting called by the Mayor to discuss filling the vacancy left by Coleen Burrus, the current alderman who is leaving Evanston to accept a position at Princeton University.
