6th Grade Teacher Investigated for Watching Porn During Class
A student at Haven Middle School in Evanston told ABC the substitute was acting suspicious while kids were working on a science project.
EVANSTON, IL - A substitute teacher at Haven Middle School in Evanston is under investigation for allegedly watching porn on his computer while his sixth grade students were working on a science project.
A 12-year-old girl in the class told ABC 7 Chicago about her suspicion. She said the teacher would tell students to not come near him while he had the laptop open, click out of something, turn the computer away and then tell the students to come in. A classmate who got close enough to the computer screen described what she saw as “inappropriate.”
The girl’s mother says the teacher’s behavior was “extremely sick.”
School officials immediately contacted police, who confiscated the laptop and began an investigation.
