Alderman Opposes Brewery at Recycling Site

Evanston 9th Ward Ald. Brian Miller is opposed to the opening of a brewery/restaurant at the old recycling center site at 2222 Oakton Street.

“Since the center is located on James Park, I believe the best use would be for recreational programming,” he said. “I think it is short sighted of our City to sell this resource on our busiest park. I have also been working to create a plan for the use, repair and upkeep of all of our park facilities and resources.”
