EVANSTON, IL — The driver of an SUV died in a rollover crash near Northwestern University on Friday night, Evanston police told ABC News.
Officers called to Simpson Street and Sherman Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. found an SUV on its side, and the driver, a 65-year-old Evanston man, was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the outlet.
His name was not immediately released, and what caused the crash was not clear, the outlet reported.
