Last Sunday evening on February 19, 2012, the non-profit organization Interfaith Action of Evanston (IAE) hosted its annual Vision Keepers dinner at the Hilton Orrington. Approximately 373 people attended the dinner, which included representatives from 29 faith communities who recognized a total of 37 Vision Keepers. A Vision Keeper emobies values that positively impact both the faith community and the larger community. Reverend Karen E. Mosby-Avery, Associate Pastor at Second Baptist Church in Evanston was the Keynote speaker. Her speech entitled "Make It Plain and Say It Loud!" brought the crowd to its feet.
