Arson Suspected in Custer Avenue Garage Fire
Witnesses say youngsters were playing in the area before a garage was fully engulfed.
EVANSTON, IL - A Tuesday afternoon garage fire in Evanston may have been intentionally set.
The possibly-abandoned garage in the 1000 block of Custer Avenue was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived around 1:30 p.m., according to Evanston Now. Reports show witnesses claim youngsters were playing in the area just before the blaze broke out.
No one was injured.
