Assisted Living Facility Planned for Ridge Avenue
Plans for a 12-story building in the city's Second Ward have been introduced to local residents.

Plans for a 12-story assisted living facility with about 150 units at the old National School Towel Service property on Ridge Ave. have been introduced to residents of the city of Evanston’s second ward.
Developer Michael McLean of Condor Partners told residents at a 2nd Ward meeting that the site is “one of the last developable parcels downtown,” according to Evanston Now.
McLean touted the location for the senior citizen facility, with convenient access to Green Bay Road for relatives as far north as Highland Park and in proximity to downtown Evanston. The facility, he said, would employ about 100 and hopes many of his employees would be residents of Evanston.
