EVANSTON, IL — A person is in police custody after an attempted abduction at Northwestern University on Saturday morning, officials said.
According to an alert issued by the university, the attempted abduction happened around 10 a.m. near Scott Hall on University Place. The victim was unharmed and one person was taken into custody, officials said.
According to the university, there is no ongoing threat. Officials gave the all-clear shortly after 10:45 a.m.
