Auditions for Tater Tot Production Next Week

Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People's Ears is looking for children ages 5-7.

Submitted by the City of Evanston

Children ages five through seven are invited to audition for Evanston’s Tater Tot Theatre Company’s production, Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People’s Ears, on Wednesday, September 2 and Friday, September 4 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center, located at 927 Noyes St., in Evanston.

Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People’s Ears tells the story of an old folktale about a mosquito who fibs to a lizard and causes a long line of panic. To run away from the consequences of the lie, the mosquito hid and now buzzes in people’s ears to find out if everyone is still angry. In the end, the mosquito learns that it’s not good to spread lies and rumors.
