Bellydance TeenFusion - Custer Fair Edition

Gathering together girls in grades 6th through 12th, this workshop focuses on exploring the basics of bellydance and on creating choreography in a group setting. The resulting piece will be performed at the 2016 Custer Street Fair (performance is NOT required) by the students who want to take their work to the stage.

This workshop weaves body positivity and self-esteem building into the dance, celebrating each girl for who she is right now.

Standard workout attire (and bare feet) are appropriate for the workshop, and simple costuming will be discussed for the performance. Bare bellies are not required in class or on stage.

The 9-week workshop will finish with the girls knowing the choreography they built! One additional dress rehearsal with the full Zahara Fusion troupe will be required for those girls wanting to perform at the fair.

Custer Street fair is Father's Day weekend (June 17/18) and performances will be held on both Saturday and Sunday.
