Boy Robbed In Alley By Trio Of Men: Police

The strongarm robbery took place Wednesday afternoon, police said.

EVANSTON, IL — Three men robbed a 12-year-old Evanston boy in an alley Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Around 5:00 p.m. the trio stopped the boy around the 900 block of Mulford Street and told him to empty his pockets, according to police.

The boy did, and the men took his keys, police said.

One of the three is described as a 20 to 25 years old black man, five foot six inches to five foot eight inches, with blond-tipped dreadlocks, wearing a black jacket and black track pants. The other two are only described as black men. No weapon was used, according to an Evanston police spokesperson.
