Brawl at La Macchina Cafe Ends With Mob Charges
Four Evanstonians were found brawling on Orrington Ave. early Sunday morning.
EVANSTON, IL - Four Evanston residents were arrested after a brawl at a local cafe Sunday morning.
Three men - all between 19 and 25 years old - were charged with a mob action misdemeanor and a fourth charged with disobedience to police, according to the Daily Northwestern.
A “mob of people” were fighting in the street outside La Macchina Cafe, 1620 Orrington Ave. around 2 a.m. Police on scene had to use a Taser to detain at least three people.
