Breakers Hosts Congresswoman

Chicago’s 9th district Congressman, Jan Schakowsky, visited The Breakers at Edgewater Beach on Monday, November 23, to debrief on recent legislation and to take questions from residents at The Breakers. Last week she announced her statement on opposing legislation to block refugees, and shared her views, discussed climate change and took questions from the audience--with particular relevance to seniors (they were a spirited, question-asking group!). The Breakers was happy to host the Congresswoman for the afternoon.
